Hi, I’m Shiloh, and I’m so excited to be on this journey with you.

Movement has always been a big part of my life. I fell in love with Pilates at 18 and have been inspired by Joseph Pilates’ philosophy ever since. I threw myself into full-time teaching, chasing perfection and pushing through, even when my body was telling me to stop.

Eventually, I hit burnout. I developed severe nerve pain, constant thoracic tension, full-body rashes, and fatigue so deep I could barely get out of bed. I was anxious, overextended, and holding it all together at a huge cost. I was young and active, yet completely disconnected from my own wellbeing.

That’s when I discovered the breath.

Through a year-long journey of breath retraining, I realised that nearly all my symptoms came back to one simple thing: I was constantly holding my breath and gripping my core. As soon as I became aware of my breathing, the symptoms started to ease. I felt alive again.

Joseph Pilates spoke to the power of the breath, but it's often misunderstood in the Pilates world. Breathwork has been something I’ve wanted to try for so long and I’m so glad to have experienced it with Shi for my first time.
